We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Brentwood, Essex. This rewarding role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children reach their full potential, patience, and a proactive approach to learning support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support the emotional, social, and academic development of students.
  • Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the SENCO.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
