About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated SEN Teacher to join our oversubscribed and supportive school in Upminster. This is a full-time position starting in January 2025.

Our school provides a calm, purposeful, yet stimulating environment with specialist resources and facilities. We cater to students aged 4-16 on our main site and 16-19 on our Post-16 site. Our students have a range of complex learning disabilities, Autism, and speech, language, and communication needs. We specialise in developing communication skills in children and young people with severe language barriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and inspire learners with SEN through eclectic, innovative, and accessible teaching methods.
  • Develop functional life skills and support students' communication and behavioural needs.
  • Monitor and personalise learning to ensure positive outcomes for every learner.
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team to provide outstanding classroom leadership.
  • Carry out professional duties as outlined in the School Teacher's Pay and Conditions Document.
