Workshop & Field Service Welder Fabricator

Location: West Horndon, CM13 3XL, Essex.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

About the position:

EMC Elite Engineering Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop & Field Service Welder Fabricator. This dual-role position involves working from the company's workshop facilities in West Horndon, Essex, as well as supporting various field service activities and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components with precision and high standards of quality.

Responsibilities and Duties

Engineering Drawings: Proficient in interpreting engineering manufacturing drawings for parts and components production
Welding Expertise: Extensive experience in MIG/MAG welding, ensuring high standards
Precision: Calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and measuring tools
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and adherence to health and safety standards
Professionalism: Execute all tasks with professional conduct

What we need from you:

Experience: Proficient in MIG/MAG welding with the ability to work independently from engineering drawings
Qualifications: Time-served with ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications
Communication: Clear, concise, and logical communication skills, both verbal and written
Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Fitness: Capable of handling the physical demands of the job
Flexibility: A positive and adaptable approach to work
