We are in urgent need of local Teaching Assistants in Launceston to support a SEN school with a full time position. If you are interested in beginning a career in education, we are looking for you!

Responsibilities:    

  • Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
  • Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behavior challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:    

  • Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions 
  • Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised. 
  • Demonstrated Patience and Empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
