Autograph are working alongside a growing Accountancy Practice based in Bridgend. The successful candidate will join the exciting team as an Audit and Accounts Senior and will be based at the Bridgend office. They are looking for driven dedicated individuals with broad-ranging skills and experience to join the team.

In this role, you will:

• Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.• Prepare client paperwork (Accounts, tax, PAYE, VAT) within allocated deadlines to allow timely submission to HMRC.• Reconciling client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.• Ensure day to day client files/audits are completed correctly and within the timeframes and requirements set.• Deliver client work of the highest standards and ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.• Handle client requests and queries in a manner that promotes client loyalty.• Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.• Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualifications or equivalent by experience

  • Practice experience

  • Participate in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Dependable and reliable team player

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, both internal and external

  • Professional manner and appearance at all times

  •  Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Managing Processes and good organisation skills to minimise time spent on administration 

  • Confidentiality Strong computer skills Microsoft Office

  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.

  • Experience using Xero, Sage, and/or QuickBooks
