Brook Street are working with a highly reputable Accountancy firm based in Bridgend and are supporting them on their search for a Senior Accountant. This is a full time role and involves working from their offices 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9-5.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide training and support to clients on online accounting software.
- Meet with clients and address their queries.
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients.
- Prepare and finalise client accounts.
- Plan and conduct audit fieldwork.
- Review VAT returns and payroll processes.
- Prepare and review management accounts.
- Identify tax and business planning opportunities for clients.
- Assist Directors with various tasks and projects.
- Help train and develop junior staff members.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of tax regulations.
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAEW / ACCA) or working towards one.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
