South Wales based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Team Manager to work alongside their Kinship and Permanence team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an authority which offering you a laptop and mobile phone so you can work more flexibly so there can be some home working saving you time and money.

Social Workers within the service focus on the assessment and supervision of Kinship carers and the assessment and support of Special Guardians. The role will involve the supervision and support of staff including performance management and appraisals, the development of policy and procedure to support the service and engagement in strategic meetings to support permanence planning for children.

• This post is based in the Kinship and Permanenceteam
• To provide leadership and management for our Fostering Service
• Will have the opportunity to occasionally work from home and will be given the equipment in order to do so
