Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Bridgend
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum plus car allowance and additional benefits
Our client is looking for a skilled Site Engineer to join their team for a significant project in Bridgend. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to a wider team.
Site Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues to the project manager.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to the project schedule and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys, set out control points, and ensure all work aligns with project plans.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhere to safety regulations.
Site Engineer Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a site engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
