Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager for a Client in the Bridgend area.

Ideal Candidate:

To ensure projects are managed in line with client obligations, safely, completed in a timely manner and on budget. Presentable, communicative and IT Literate (excellent written and verbal communication skills). The position requires strong leadership skills and management experience.

Key Accountabilities:

* Develop and maintain project plans, including time lines, budgets and resource allocation.

* Oversee multiple small projects and control all elements throughout the work cycle with a specific focus on client relationship and communication. Have the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

* Plan, schedule and sequence works efficiently and in line with client requirements, being conscious of costs and reducing unrequired visits/unduly time on site or travelling.

* Full health, safety and environmental risk assessments are regularly carried out and necessary documents saved and submitted to necessary contacts.

* To fully engage with Clients, local authorities, Contractors, office staff and site teams.

* Ensure that all progress/pre-start/general meetings with clients/Contractors are attended, documented and reported on.

* To maximise revenue from chargeable remedial and changes of specification and document all variations.

Hours of work

Office based - Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5pm (Weekend working on occasion will be required).

Salary

Permanent position.

From £42,000 per annum.

Pension.

Holidays 22 per annum plus Bank Holidays.
