We are looking to recruit for a Lead Quality Assurance Assessor with a strong background in business and management. Previous experience as an NVQ assessor and/or training advisor is highly desirable.

Duties:

  • Co-ordinate internal quality assurance activities within the delivery team.
  • Ensure qualifications are completed in line with the relevant assessment strategy.
  • Plan and undertake observations of teaching, learning and assessment practices.
  • Manage sampling and complete internal quality assurance and observation records in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Prepare clear and well-written IQA reports, with sufficient detail to support and improve performance.
  • Prepare for and manage EQA visits.
  • Advise the Manager of staff training and support needs.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings.
  • Support a small caseload of apprentices.
  • Conducting scheduled visits to employers for learning delivery, assessment, and apprentice reviews employers in line with quality and compliance requirements.

Skills needed:

  • IQA and Assessor Qualifications TAQA Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching and assessment
  • Full Driving Licence and use of own vehicle with added business insurance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal Skills and be confident in dealing with a wide range of contacts.
  • Excellent IT skills and digital literacy.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
