Diesel Generator Engineer Location: BridgendSalary: £31,000 - £34,000 (Depending on Experience) + Overtime and Call-Out PayHours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 (Early Finish on Friday)Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced generator engineer for our client based in Bridgend on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of welfare units and a wide range of other equipment. You'll also provide onsite support to our valued customers, ensuring all machinery is in optimal condition.The role:
  • Maintain and repair all equipment within product range.
  • Identify, document, and report any machine damage.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service and maintenance records.
  • Provide onsite services for customers, ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Participate in the on-call rota when required
The right candidate:
  • Prior experience in the generator/Plant industry or similar
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities
  • Great communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
  • Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
