With Operations across Europe and with an ever expanding customer base, this award winning manufacturer has recently invested in new state of the art machinery at its South Wales facility. Following their recent investment they are looking for a Senior Electrical maintenance engineer to lead their well-established maintenance team, this role is the first step into management sitting between the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Engineers on shift. It's a clear pathway to be the technical expert within the maintenance team and support the engineers working underneath you taking on more responsibility. The company offer internal and external training courses on specific manufacturing equipment to further develop your skills and help you progress further.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working in a fast moving, high-volume environment
- Fault finding and maintenance support of automated production lines
- Lead all preventative maintenance activities and support the engineers.
- Act as the technical specialist on site, giving advice where needed.
- Capital expenditure activities
- PPM and breakdown assistance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- HNC Level or equivalent (Apprenticeship)
- Electrical Biased Maintenance background within a manufacturing company is essential.
- Any PLC experience would be a bonus
- (Fast moving Environment (high volume) would be desirable but not essential
- Proactive attitude
