Join a leading team in the building safety industry, specialising in enhancing structural integrity through innovative solutions. We are looking for a Technical Services Advisor with a focus on passive fire protection, including cavity barriers and firestops. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to improving safety standards and customer satisfaction through expert advice and technical support.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Evaluate and manage incoming technical enquiries, assigning tasks to engineers based on urgency and expertise.
  • Provide reliable technical support via phone and email, adhering to our internal competency guidelines.
  • Maintain meticulous records in our CRM system, ensuring all interactions and technical advice are logged accurately.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and team members to foster strong professional relationships.
  • Use KPIs to monitor and improve the timeliness and quality of our responses to clients.
  • Assist in the coordination of bespoke product orders, ensuring all products comply with previously provided technical specifications.
  • Participate in continuous learning to support other departments and enhance overall team efficiency.

Required:

  • 2-3 years of Customer Service Experience
  • Experience or a strong interest in working within a technical environment
  • A relevant qualification within Maths or Science ( A level/ higher education or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details clearly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and technical documentation.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a technical support role, preferably within the construction supplier industry.
