The Company
Opportunity to join a manufacturing company based in the Bridgend area, who are looking for a new team member in their busy productive warehouse.
The Role
This is a permanent full-time position working a 40 hour week. You will work 8 hours a day between the hours of 06:00AM and 06:00PM Monday - Friday. The use of forklifts and driving code 2 HGV's is essential for this role.
Applicants with in-house forklift licenses from current or previous employment are welcome to apply.
Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Internal movement of stock
- Stock control using the warehouse management system
- Monthly stock checks
- Forklift truck operation
- Picking orders
- Moving goods between production, packing and dispatch areas
- Ensuring warehouse and vehicles are clean and tidy
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met
Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following experience qualifications and attributes:
- Previous warehouse operations experience is essential
- Experienced in operating forklift trucks essential
- Current forklift license - in-house licenses are acceptable
- Code 2 HGV license is also essential for this role
- Previous stock control experience
- Solid communication skills
- A team player who can also work well independently using own initiative
- Good at following instructions
- A self-starter
