£35,000 - £45,000 + Monday-Friday + Regular Travel + Car Allowance + Company Benefits Are you a Health and Safety Manager or similar who is NEBOSH or IOSH qualified, looking for a specialist and technical role within a well-established Freight-Forward company who offer the chance to work on varied projects and the autonomy to make the role your own? This leading freight forwarding company provide freight forwarding services within a variety of different industries, through land, sea and air. They have been operating for over 20+ years and have continued to grow in several countries around the world. Due to an ever increasing workload, they are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team and make their mark on the business.

This varied role will see you working primarily autonomously as you undertake site visits around the UK, mainly in the South of Wales to carry out health and safety inspections and audits, accident investigations and risk assessments. You will be responsible for continual compliance to regulation and industry standards as well as working closely with contract managers, site teams and the senior leadership, as you work 8:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday.This role would suit a Health and Safety Manager or similar looking for a varied managerial role within a well-established company, offering the opportunity to manage your own time.The Role:- Carry out site visits to conduct health and safety audits and inspections - Review and update existing risk assessment procedures - Monitor and evaluate safety protocols - Working with contract managers, site teams and senior leadership - Visiting sites across the UK mainly in South Wales - Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pmThe Person:- Health and Safety Manager or similar - Logistics background - IOSH / NEBOSH or similar qualification - Based in Pencoed (willing to regularly travel to sites)Health and Safety, H&S, Manager, NEBOSH, IOSH, Logistics, Freight-Forwarding, Commercial, Office, Site, Travel, Regional, South Wales, UK.
