QUALITY MANAGER - CARDIFF
PERM/FULL TIME
Manpower are recruiting for a Quality Manager for our clients manufacturing facility in Wales.
This expanding site hosts a well established team on the outskirts of Cardiff, a continually growing business, working in a fast paced role the ideal candidate would have time served or extensive knowledge to offer our client.
Role
- Establish and implement quality control procedures for precast concrete products.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished precast elements to ensure they meet the required specifications.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyse quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure that all processes and products comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Ensure all testing and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Ensure that all quality control processes adhere to health and safety protocols to protect workers.
Criteria
- Good construction manufacturing and working with concrete products or steel knowledge
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Good technical ability, enthusiastic and driven
