About the client:My client provide Cyber Security and Managed IT Services, providing industry leading technical support to a large external client base. This is a progressive opportunity, with excellent progression and training opportunities. This is also a hybrid working opportunity, with three working days in office in Bridgend. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be the senior point of escalation for technical matters escalated from 2nd Line Engineers.

The 3rd Line Support Engineer role:

  • Provide 3rd Line Technical Support, providing escalated support from 2nd Line.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues as a final point of escalation.
  • Maintaining impeccable customer service.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation and notes throughout the day.
  • Uphold service management and quality management principles.

3rd Line IT Support Engineer - Essential skills:

  • Strong Service Desk background - able to work through tickets comfortably and at pace.
  • Technical skills including Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Hyper V, VMWare, Servers, VoIP, LAN/WAN, HPE Server/SAN Infrastructures, Datto/Veeam/Acronis, LAN/WAN Technologies.
  • A passion for delivering an accurate and assured service.
  • A drive to progress and develop as a professional.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Minimum 5 years IT Support Experience at 3rd Line Level.
  • Experience of working within an MSP.
  • Hold industry-based IT certification.
  • Hold industry-based Networking certification.
  • Have project installation experience.
  • A drive to progress and develop skill set.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK based diving licence - with own vehicle.
