Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for experienced Assembly Operators for a leading Manufacturing Client in the Bridgend area.

We are seeking individuals to join our fitting shop team in an assembly role. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools and grinders preferably in a metal working environment.

This role involves the assembly of components, ensuring that all work meets the highest quality standards.

Duties

* To build mechanical assemblies.

* Good Mechanical skill set.

* Machine operation (forklift, crane), (desirable not essential).

* To assemble all parts in accordance with the latest drawings and instructions.

* During machinery and equipment production, assembles/fit sparts made up of metal and other materials via brazing and welding.

* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

* After reviewing drawings, specifications and job sites, determine what materials and equipment are needed for a given job.

* Communicates any unsafe conditions or accidents promptly.

* Improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide seamless customer service.

Qualifications

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively.

* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions would be an advantage.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday/Days.

The hourly rate is £12.00.
