Job Summary:
Reporting to the operations manager, your duties include equipment rentals, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will oversee the entire hire process from customer contact to equipment return, maintain records, and collaborate with sales, logistics, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries, providing information on equipment availability, pricing, and hire terms.
- Process hire requests, generate quotes, and confirm bookings.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through communication and problem-solving.
- Ensure all equipment is available, serviced, and ready for hire.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and servicing with the maintenance team.
- Monitor and manage equipment stock levels, including ordering and disposal.
- Maintain accurate records and update the hire database to reflect current stock and hire statuses.
- Arrange transportation and coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries and collections.
- Assist the sales team in identifying hire opportunities and upselling services or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, promoting health and safety standards.
