Job Description

Overview

As Site Leader, you'll be at the helm of a busy manufacturing site focused on producing high-quality, sewn medical textiles. With a team of around 40, you'll ensure we meet demanding delivery schedules, maintain top-quality standards, and promote a safe, supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all site operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Managing team performance and development through consistent communication, clear objective setting, and ongoing training.
  • Leading daily and monthly production meetings to review KPIs and identify actions to improve output and efficiency.
  • Maintaining operational excellence through robust SOPs, compliance with ISO standards, and proactive site maintenance to support 100% uptime.
  • Actively engaging in cross-departmental planning to optimize production flow for make-to-stock and make-to-order items.

Your Skills and Attributes

This role is suited to a people-oriented leader with a proactive mindset, strong communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A proven track record in managing teams within a manufacturing environment, ideally with experience in assembly and production processes.
