Production Manager

As a Production Manager, you will be integral to the success of the organisation, ensuring the seamless operation of the production process. Your leadership and expertise will be key in driving the achievement of the company's production goals and objectives.

Location - Bridgend

Salary - 55,000 - 60,000 per annum

Duties of the Production Manager -

• Monitor and report any variances in defined costs against the agreed budget. Drive cost reduction and waste elimination efforts within the manufacturing process. Prepare relevant reports and KPIs and share performance updates with all staff in your area through toolbox talks and other effective communication methods.
• Ensure the organisation and maintenance of a skilled and efficient workforce, aligned with customer demand and business improvement goals. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, goal setting, and achieving objectives.
• Ensure the effective use of the Sage 200 system and maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the system.
• Cultivate the growth of key staff members by leveraging their skills and potential.
• Foster product and customer awareness among manufacturing and design teams, aligning with continuous improvement practices and supporting the company's QA/QC policies and procedures. Provide assistance with all relevant quality control matters.

Qualifications of a Production Manager required -

• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrable knowledge & experience in lean manufacturing and manufacturing productivity improvements.
• Minimum Degree or Level 4 VQ in a Manufacturing related discipline.
