We're currently working with a Bridgend based manufacturer looking to bolster the quality team with the acquisition of a Quality Inspector. Following an increased period of growth and new contracts won, this well-established business will provide a candidate security and progression opportunities to develop with the business. Role & Responsibilities:
- To ensure Health & Safety and Environmental working practices are followed at all times.
- To conduct thorough Quality and Weld Inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) as per engineering drawings, regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- To utilise all available methods of inspection, including but not limited to, Visual, Dye Penetrant (LP), Magnetic Particle (MPI), and Ultrasonic (UT) testing in order to carry out comprehensive inspection of all product.
- To create accurate inspection reports, documenting all results, including any non-conformances, and work closely with the Production department to address and resolve quality issues.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- You must have a CSWIP 3.1
- Experienced in a quality based role
- A strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques
