We are seeking a diligent Purchase Ledger for our clients Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial procedures within the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Description

  • Managing purchase ledger accounts effectively and efficiently.
  • Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
  • Preparing BACS payments and processing remittances.
  • Managing petty cash transactions and recording them in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with suppliers and resolving any potential invoice queries.
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and providing support to the finance team.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial regulations.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
