Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in the Bridgend area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing classes, managing student behavior, and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Following pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring their smooth implementation
- Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a respectful and focused atmosphere
- Supporting students with their learning and engagement in lessons
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a secondary school setting or similar environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different educational settings
