Science Technician - Bridgend
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science Technician to work in a large secondary school in Bridgend to start as soon as possible and will be full time.
We are ideally looking for someone that is comfortable working with young people and who has a sound knowledge of science. Your duties will include preparation of resources, maintenance, cleaning of equipment and stock management. Previous experience of working in a similar role or a Science Graduate.

Minimum rate of pay - from £95 per day
Hours - 8:30am - 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree educated with a good classification
- Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
- Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
- Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80.
- Provide a minimum of two professional references.
