Job Title: Business Development Team Leader

Location: Bridgend, Wales

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum with performance-based OTE of £47,600

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.30pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Team Leader to spearhead our efforts in winning new business through outbound sales. As a player-manager, you will not only lead and build a high-performing team of appointment setters but also actively participate in the outbound sales activities. Your team will generate new business opportunities for our field sales team, driving growth and success for Flotek Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Team: Oversee an outbound appointment setting team, ensuring they generate high-quality appointments for the field sales team.
  • Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Support and Motivation: Foster a positive and motivating environment to drive team growth and success.
  • Performance Analysis: Identify high-performing verticals and implement strategies to capitalise on these opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop tools and campaigns that generate business.
  • Lead Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with leads over time, ensuring they are well-informed and engaged.
  • Prospecting: Conduct thorough research on prospects, understanding their current suppliers and services to build a comprehensive overview.
  • Data Presentation: You will provide & present data daily, weekly & monthly to management of all activities of the team.

About you:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
  • Experience in the IT and Communication sector is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
