We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team and contribute to the efficient running of our warehouse.

Job Purpose:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring our products are handled, stored, and dispatched effectively to meet customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing orders, managing stock levels, and ensuring that the warehouse operates in a safe and organised manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring that customer orders are shipped on time and in excellent condition.
  • Stock Management: Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries. Regularly monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or low stock.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in regular stock counts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping and ensure all orders meet the company's quality standards.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all company health and safety policies, maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning, waste management, and equipment checks.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations and assist in other areas when needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in picking and packing orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move, and carry items (up to 25kg) and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Organisation: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time efficiently, and prioritise tasks.
  • Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • IT Skills: Basic computer literacy for managing stock systems and shipping software.
