An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced VAT Assistant Manager to join a leading Midlands PLC In House Tax Team. The successful candidate will assist the tax department in managing VAT processes and contribute to the strategic growth of the company.

Description

  • Managing VAT processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Providing advice and guidance on VAT issues to various departments within the company.
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Developing and implementing VAT strategies to support business objectives.
  • Working closely with the tax department to optimise VAT processes.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in VAT legislation and ensuring the company is compliant.
  • Contributing to the strategic growth of the company through effective VAT management.
  • Assisting with VAT audits and liaising with external auditors as required.

Profile

A successful VAT Assistant Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a VAT management role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
