Description
- Managing VAT processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Providing advice and guidance on VAT issues to various departments within the company.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Developing and implementing VAT strategies to support business objectives.
- Working closely with the tax department to optimise VAT processes.
- Keeping abreast of changes in VAT legislation and ensuring the company is compliant.
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the company through effective VAT management.
- Assisting with VAT audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
Profile
A successful VAT Assistant Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a VAT management role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
