Looking to make a big impact at a global firm? We’re looking for bright, motivated individuals to join our Billings team as a Billing Assistant. Based in our Birmingham office, this is a fast-paced and collaborative role where client service is key, and everyone thrives together.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive a five-star service, helping to maintain the smooth running of our billing processes. If you have experience in finance administration and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear guidance to employees on correct billing processes and procedures
  • Build strong relationships with the finance team to ensure best practices
  • Handle queries from clients and internal teams regarding invoices, billing rejections, and financial matters
  • Regularly review billing matters to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Deliver training and support to legal teams, identifying gaps in knowledge and providing appropriate guidance
  • Support financial housekeeping tasks and contribute to ad-hoc projects
  • Work with the dormant balance team to reduce client costs
  • Collaborate closely with the wider finance team to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations
  • Respond to correspondence and queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
  • Previous experience in finance administration (preferable)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • General administration experience (preferred)
