The Role: Associate Engineer

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic design team at ground level, at the forefront of delivering innovative engineering solutions across multiple disciplines. From designing state-of-the-art WiFi systems and world-class audio propagation models, to implementing groundbreaking DC microgrids, and patented power technologies, no two days are the same.

Your work will have a tangible impact, with project cycles of 4-12 months allowing you to see the implementation and results of your designs in action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting design engineers and senior design engineers to produce detailed specifications, schedules, and documentation for electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Deliver high-quality, precise CAD drawings.
  • Contribute to the design of innovative systems in areas such as:
    • WiFi, Ethernet, and IP communications.
    • Audio and voice alarms.
    • CCTV, video, and display technologies.
    • DC microgrid power distribution and stored energy.
    • Optical fibres.
    • Bespoke equipment housing.
  • Conduct engineering calculations, data analysis, and site surveys.
  • Support system commissioning both on-site and remotely, ensuring designs meet stringent performance standards.

About You:

  • A degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent in an engineering, scientific, or mathematical discipline.
  • 1-5 years of experience in an engineering environment (field, design, or similar).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong analytical skills.
  • Adaptable, tenacious, and methodical, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Enthusiastic about working across diverse systems and engineering challenges.
