Fabricator - Industrial Systems and Engineering - West Midlands

A Fabricator is required to join an International Industrial Systems and Engineering company that Designs, Manufactures, Assembles, Tests and Commissions Industrial Systems. The successful Fabricator will be reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The Fabricator will be responsible for all aspects of the fabrication process. This is including but not limited to material preparation, marking out and assembly. The Fabricator role will include working with various metals including stainless steels and carbon steel (typically) to fabricate according to technical specifications and drawings. The Fabricator role requires knowledge of welding, machining, and other fabrication techniques, as well as attention to detail, safety, and quality control.

This Fabricator role comes with a shift premium for working double day shifts and qualifies for Paid O/T as required.

The Fabricator will need the following:

  • Proven experience in fabrication or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and other metalworking processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Fabricator will need the following Qualifications Skills and Experience:

  • Apprentice Trained - Engineering/Craft Studies/Welding Operations.
  • Must be a Good Team Worker with Good communications skills.
  • Experienced in fabrication/welding of safety critical components.
  • Good dexterity and attention to detail
  • Can work to strict quality requirements and Fabrication and plating experience is desirable.

**Security Clearance (SC) will be required due to the nature of the products involved therefore only British and UK Candidates are Eligible**
