My client, a global leader in steel distribution, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Stainless Steel division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of industries, including oil & gas, automotive, power generation, aviation, and mining.
Responsibilities
- Identify and win new business opportunities
- Re-engage lapsed clients and maximise existing accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Provide technical and commercial solutions to meet client needs
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
- Split between office-based and external sales
Requirements
- Proven experience in steel/metal sales, ideally within stainless steel
- Strong business development and account management skills
- Ability to sell into technical industries such as oil & gas, automotive, or aviation
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Package Details
- Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00 / Friday 08:30-14:00
- Competitive base salary, depending on level of experience
