My client, a global leader in steel distribution, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Stainless Steel division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of industries, including oil & gas, automotive, power generation, aviation, and mining.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new business opportunities
  • Re-engage lapsed clients and maximise existing accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Provide technical and commercial solutions to meet client needs
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Split between office-based and external sales

Requirements

  • Proven experience in steel/metal sales, ideally within stainless steel
  • Strong business development and account management skills
  • Ability to sell into technical industries such as oil & gas, automotive, or aviation
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Package Details

  • Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00 / Friday 08:30-14:00
  • Competitive base salary, depending on level of experience
  • Company car, phone and laptop
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holiday

  • Option for BUPA
