  • Through recent investment, they have a big opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across and already established customer portfolio.
  • With a lean structure, the role will regularly interact with Board level stakeholders, providing great exposure and visibility that will help accelerate your career development.

The role:

  • We’re looking to recruit a driven individual keen to join a business where career progression can be accelerated by results. This is a business with serious ambition, where everybody knows the roles they have to play and team collaboration is key.
  • As Business Development Manager, you will report to the board and be responsible for spearheading business development with existing and new customer targets.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a record of success whilst supplying UK based food and beverage manufacturers, winning and developing new customer relationships.

Ideal candidate:

  • To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of two years’ experience at National Account Manager / Business Development Manager level whilst responsible for a diverse portfolio of customer accounts.
  • You will have a natural passion for hunting new business opportunities and enjoy the freedom of home working, with frequent travel across the Midlands and South.
  • A hands-on approach to your work is key to ensure you effectively project manage and lead internal cross functional working needs for new customers when secured.
  • You will currently be operating within the UK packaging industry.
