Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning Engineer | Midlands | Up to £50k + Car

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a innovative, dynamic and forward thinking SME who are backed by a large multinational parent company. This role is covering the Midlands.

You will get to work on a range of projects valued between £50k up to £1.5m. These smart solution projects help to boost productivity and connectivity in a number of ways such as, connecting BMS and other systems into a singular platform and integrating IoT sensors.

It is an exciting time to join the business as they are currently at the start of a 3-5 year aggressive growth strategy, and this role is vital to achieve that success.

What will you deliver?

• The commissioning the installation of BEMS and Control systems in line with Customer design requirements
• Perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups
• Troubleshooting system defects
• Provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors
• Involvement with customer’s validation processes and execution as part of Commissioning works and Project handover procedures

What do you require?

• Extensive experience as a Commissioning Engineer within BEMS & Building Controls industry
• Strong understanding and experience with leading systems e.g. Siemens, Trend, Tridium systems, etc
• Siemens Desigo CC & Trend IQ Vision (including M-Bus, Modbus, Bacnet protocols)
• Recognised qualification (NVQ Level 5, HNC / HND or higher in a Construction, Infrastructure or engineering related discipline such as building, electrical and/or mechanical service)
