Sales Representative – UK South

Field Based/Remote

Up to £30,000 + Company Car & Commission (OTE £38,000)

This role involves driving the growth of the UK and Export markets as well as maintaining outstanding relationships within the OEM & Engineering sectors expanding the network of distributors in the South of the UK.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Effectively manage and support an assigned customer base consisting of Mechanical Contractors, Engineers, Buyers, Planners
  • Maintain and increase the volume of product sales revenue with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Work with and expand the current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business.
  • Research, develop and implement operational/strategic plans to ensure territory growth
  • Conduct regular area reviews via phone, video conferencing and face to face visits with all customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with other group departments.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within Industrial/consumer goods, OEM Sales, Distributor / Reseller Sales is desirable
  • Proven track record of sales within a field based role
  • Experience within an account management or business development role managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Prospecting, closing and growing business accounts.
  • Technically minded and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal) / interpersonal skills to interact successfully at all levels.
  • Excellent Computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office.
  • A good organiser with the ability to manage multiple demands whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Results orientated and target driven
  • Full UK Driving Licence
