Panoramic Associates is currently working with a client based in the West Midlands to facilitate the appointment of an Interim Development Manager on an interim basis for 6 months to oversee the delivery of projects within the social housing sector.

This role will focus primarily on delivering housing development projects at RIBA Stages 4-7.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Manage social housing development projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion (Stage 7).
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to meet project objectives.
  • Monitor site progress, addressing challenges and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Support earlier RIBA stages (if required) with feasibility and design input.
  • Manage budgets, risks, and timelines to deliver successful outcomes.

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Development Manager, focusing on RIBA Stages 4-7.
  • Previous experience working within a Local Authority or Housing Association setting focusing on social housing/residential project.
  • Strong knowledge of housing regulations, planning processes, and building standards.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
