JOB – Power System Modelling Engineer  LOCATION – West Midlands TERM - Permanent SALARY – £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependant on experience)  A West Midlands based Engineering company are currently looking for a Power System Modelling Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Power System Modelling Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • BEng or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • 5 years’ power system modelling experience.
  • Proficient with DigSilent, MATLAB & Simulink.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
The Power System Modelling Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • The leadership of power system modelling projects.
  • Consistently improving modelling capabilities for the company.
  • Creating technical reports & documentation.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure work is to standard.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met at all times.
