The salary for this role ranges from £42k to £50k depending on experience, along with a company van provided.
Candidates should have a minimum of HNC in electronics or a technical subject, as well as a full clean UK driving license and a clean DBS background check.
Experience in field service is required, preferably with gas detection systems, although training will be provided on company-specific systems.
Additional requirements include excellent timekeeping, organization skills, and the ability to work in varied environments, including at heights and in confined spaces.

The Role:

My client is currently looking for a gas detection onsite service engineer to join their UK team.
You may already be working in the gas detection space or experience in Fire & Security, analytical equipment or servicing technical product.
The role requires a HNC in electronics or technical subject as a minimum plus a full clean UK license and clean DBS Background check.
The role will see you servicing the company’s fixed and portable gas detectors across a variety of sites in the UK in a variety of environments and companies.

Requirements:

Proven field service experience (required)
Gas detection systems - desirable (note training provided on company systems)
Excellent timekeeping and organization skills
Providing excellent customer service experience
Full clean UK driving licence
Working at heights
Working in confined spaced
Asbestos awareness
CSCS card holder
(Required Minimum) HNC - Electronics or technical subject
Good written and communication skills (English as a first language or equivalent ability)
Computer literate
