Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to Microsoft Defender security alerts.
  • Handle service configuration issues related to Microsoft Defender and other security tools.
  • Assist in the deployment and optimisation of Microsoft E5 Security and Compliance capabilities.
  • Contribute to threat hunting, configuration improvements, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Production Systems and Incident Response teams, to improve security posture.
  • Support the transition away from a legacy security portfolio and assist with cloud migration initiatives.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in cyber security operations, ideally within Microsoft Defender environments.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of security alerts and service configurations.
  • Experience with Microsoft E5 Security and Compliance tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.
