The Reward Specialist role is pivotal to the UK Reward team, ensuring we deliver a fair and consistent reward strategy that is governed and documented, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.What we can offer you

What you’ll do day to day

  • Conduct regular market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages are competitive, engaging with stakeholders to provide recommendations for salary structures, adjustments or interventions, backed up by relevant internal and external statistics.
  • Management of the annual salary review process, annual bonus scheme calculations and annual salary survey submissions ensuring provision of timely and accurate data and reviewing outcomes for fairness and consistency.
  • Design and implement incentive and bonus schemes that motivate performance and align with company objectives.
  • Work closely with senior management teams and stakeholders to ensure reward policy decisions align to overall business goals and are governed and documented.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate records related to compensation and benefits, collating and analysing data to provide quality insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of reward policies and practices that promote equity and transparency.
  • Partner with the broader People team and management to communicate reward strategies simply and effectively to ensure employees understand the value of their total rewards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices related to compensation and benefits.
  • Proactively engage with the US Reward team to help shape and drive a global reward strategy for Group 1.

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced reward or compensation and benefits team.
  • Proficient in analysing market trends and managing annual reward processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill with the ability to interpret complex data. Competent in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Mindful and diligent of data sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support employees at all levels.
