Requirements for applicants:

  • Previous experience in a Water Hygiene Technician role.
  • The ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity.
  • Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, Water Regulations).
  • Record and provide accurate documentation that may include recommendations for all works undertaken.
  • Carry out analysis and chemical treatment of closed water systems.
  • Travel and cover weekend/night working when required.
  • A full driver's license.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Flushing
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Shower head cleaning & disinfection
  • Tank & hot water storage vessel inspections
  • Collection of water samples
  • Closed system testing & dosing
  • TMV servicing
  • Tank cleaning & disinfection
  • Disinfection (via injection)
