Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for our Public Sector client.

The purpose of the role is to provide financial management support for Clinical and Surgical Directorates providing high quality information, support and advice. You will also support the Senior Finance Business Partner with financial strategic issues. The role will include supporting the Head of Financial Management in providing financial reporting, planning and forecasting.

Key responsibilities for the Finance Business Partner are;

  • Working with the operational management team, you will provide financial information and advice on all aspects of finance related business
  • Contribute to the overall responsibility for budgetary management within the relevant Directorate
  • Enabling monthly corporate reporting and assurance that all relevant financial risks within Directorates have been accounted for
  • Working closely with the Income & Contracts team
  • To review and challenge the forecast in a professional manner with budget holders to prevent financial risk
  • To support the development of robust cost improvement plans.

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner will have;

  • Part Qualified (Final Exam Stage)
  • NHS Experience
  • Clinical and Surgical Directories (Desirable).
