The Opportunity
- Our client is looking to employ a senior Account Director to join their team in the West Midlands.
- This opportunity arises from the retirement of a long serving colleague.
- This role will assume responsibility for managing a portfolio of larger clients’ insurance programmes.
- This business consists of diverse clients including businesses in the corporate, commercial, and specialist markets.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for management of a large account of varied commercial clients taking full responsibility for all aspects of client engagement.
- Working closely with in-house Claims, Speciality and Broking teams the Account Director will ensure that the clients receive an exceptional level of service and advice service offered meeting the firms’ award-winning standards.
Successful Candidates
- Experience of the Commercial Insurance market. Client engagement within an Account Executive senior Broking or Placement role preferred.
- Experience in a role servicing commercial insurance programmes in a fully advisory business, whilst not essential, would be of interest.
- This role may appeal to commercial insurance professionals looking to develop their technical knowledge and approach.
- Strong customer service professionals taking personal ownership of service delivery.
- Excellent communicators both verbally and orally with proven ability to develop relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Well organised and comfortable working to deadlines with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks.
- An energetic professional with a positive mindset and good IT skills.
- Looking to build a long-term career; this role will lead to career progression to more senior roles.
