Our client, a leading Wealth Management firm are looking for an experienced Financial Adviser to join the team on a permanent basis.

As a Financial Adviser you will provide investment advice to clients and conduct investment business within regulatory rules and guidance along with the firm’s procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Keep up-to-date with technical and regulatory developments in relation to pension transfer, conversion and opt out business.   Advise senior management and training staff on relevant changes.
  • Undertake appropriate CPD to ensure technical knowledge is kept up to date.
  • Comply at all times with the relevant Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of the firm.
  • Comply at all times with the firm’s “pre-approval” products procedures.
  • Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the Financial Services Act 2012 and the regulatory Principles, Rules and Code of Practice for Approved Persons.
  • Providing the firm with sufficient information to enable the appropriate notifications to be made to the Regulator on a timely basis.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • An Approved qualification (e.g.  Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning).
  • Detailed knowledge of the Regulator and the firm’s record keeping requirements.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Chartered Financial Planner (desirable)
  • Minimum three years of dealing with clients and five years in industry.
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and efficiency
