Director of Debt AdvisoryLocation: Midlands Work Style: Hybrid | Full-timeAbout the Role:I am currently working with an entrepreneurial advisory firm that is looking to expand its service line by hiring a Director of Debt Advisory. Our client operates across M&A, debt solutions, and capital advisory throughout the UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the debt advisory team, drive deal flow, and manage pipeline in the debt advisory space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead the debt advisory function, supported by a team of passionate professionals that you will be in charge of recruiting.
  • Use your excellent structuring and credit skills, financial modelling expertise, and end-to-end debt advisory knowledge to engage with a range of potential lenders.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients throughout the execution process.
  • Manage and develop a high-calibre team of junior staff, enhancing their capabilities and skill sets.
  • Support origination efforts over time, building relationships with investors, developers, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in debt advisory.
  • Proven expertise in both loans and bonds, private equity, and experience interacting with rating agencies.
  • A background in advisory or related fields, with solid experience in structured finance or commercial settings
