We are working with a highly reputable law firm in the Midlands who are seeking an IP Formalities Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Are you an ideal candidate? The ideal candidate will have experience working in both patents and trade marks, however extensive experience in just one of these areas will be considered. 2+ years’ experience working within a similar role is preferable. A CITMA / CIPA Admin qualification might be an advantage, but this is not essential.

Duties include:

  • Processing correspondence in the firm’s CMS, ensuring accurate data entry and adding deadlines.
  • Raising new cases on the system and maintaining case records.
  • Processing recordals.
  • Preparing cost quotes.
  • Managing client’s IP portfolios.
  • Providing high quality service to clients and support Fee Earners.
  • Preparing and filing patent and trade mark applications.
