Programme /Project Administrator - HR Operations

Start Date: ASAP – interviews this week, (w/c 04/11)

Rate: £200 - £250 per day, Umbrella Inside IR35 – dependant on experience

Location: Remote Working – candidate will ideally be able to get to Birmingham occasionally

Duration: Until March 2024 initially, very likely extension  

Our client is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented HR Project Administrator with advanced mail merge skills to join a high-profile consultation project with a large local authorities HR Department.

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team, where your contributions will be valued, and your expertise appreciated. Working closely with HR Senior Leadership, you'll be instrumental in supporting HR operations and delivering the program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • You must be highly proficient in mail merges, using Excel data to produce large volumes of Microsoft Word documents quickly and accurately
  • Managing inboxes, handling basic HR enquiries, and maintaining high standards in all admin tasks
  • Working with Excel, data, and spreadsheets with an analytical and transactional mindset
  • Acting as a proactive assistant to HR Leadership, keeping them on track with business cases, organising tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met

Key Skills

Competency in Mail Merge: Experience in large-scale mail merge processes is essential

Excel Skills: Intermediate level, pivot table knowledge is a plus

Admin Proficiency: A solid background in HR or project admin roles, with a strong "can-do" attitude

Organised & Reliable: Strong organisational skills to support senior team members effectively

Note: Birmingham-based candidates preferred for onsite presence, but we welcome remote candidates with availability for occasional office days and in-person events.
