Salary: Negotiable

Leading international Metals Distributor, supplying material to a worldwide customer base. Customers depend on them for the best in specialty Metals comprehensive processing services, timely delivery, and expert service. 

Job Purpose: 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business that supplies high-performance metals  to leading manufacturers in the Aerospace industry.  In this role, you will support the Corporate QHSE team in managing and maintaining the Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for the branch QHSE Management systems.

  • Manage non-conforming material, product specifications, and maintain the supplier rejections database.

  • Oversee the branch customer complaints process, including Root Cause analysis and Corrective Actions.

  • Maintain and update Quality Inspection equipment calibration systems.

  • Manage Accident/Incident Logs, including investigations, corrective actions, and necessary training.

  • Ensure COSHH compliance and manage utilities, waste, and vehicle usage.

  • Conduct QHSE management system internal audits and lead customer and third-party audits.

  • Prepare monthly QHSE reports and manage KPI meetings.

  • Organise new starter inductions and QHSE management systems awareness training.

  • Coordinate training for first aiders, fire wardens, Manual Handling, FLT, Crane usage, annual waste stream training, and spills training.
