Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Manager Shropshire basedMonday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) between the core hours of 08:00 and 18:00. Established and expanding businessGlobal reachExciting plans for the futureDesirable work environment Duties•Take ownership of the QMS and Quality Policy and maintenance of the company's ISO9001•approval status•Design & maintain quality standards, procedures and specifications for the business•Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards •Review and audit current procedures to ensure they meet QA / QC guidelines•Analyse, identify &and implementing manufacturing and/or business process improvements •Provide QA expertise to support manufacturing•Review and test samples & first article parts as well as inspecting parts/materials for defects•Develop & maintain Occupational Health & Safety policy, governance arrangements as well as Health & Safety management systems•Measure and report on Health & Safety performance•Identify hazards, complete risk assessments and incident investigations•Align health and safety decision-making with business decision-making and risk management•Train / educate colleagues in order to enhance Health & Safety culture•Oversee facility-based activities in order to meet EHS standardsEssential •Be currently working as a QHSE Manager in a manufacturing environment •Have experience of managing / maintaining a ISO9001 Quality Management System•Possess strong investigative and problem-solving skills•Have exceptional communication skills across presenting & reporting,•Be able to Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships•Advanced IT skills •NEBOSH / IOSH accreditation•Knowledge of national or international industry regulations.This role is UK based and does NOT have sponsorship opportunity Our process is barrier free and we will ensure you are carefully considered for the role you have applied for.
