Are you passionate about driving change and delivering strategic IT projects? my client a leading FTSE100 business are looking for a PMO Lead to establish and maintain a Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the successful delivery of projects aligned with the businesses goals.

The are looking for a proactive PMO Lead who will fully embed themselves in the business and help drive delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • PMO Leadership: Build and manage a robust PMO framework, ensuring governance, reporting, and best practices across all projects.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and financial monitoring to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Project Support: Guide Project Managers with tools, templates, and methodologies to ensure project success.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to IT governance standards.
Key skills and experience required:
  • Experience: Good experience in PMO or project management roles; experience helpng to set up PMO functions would be advantageous.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel, data analytics, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project). Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Mindset: Proactive, organised, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, business applications, and portfolio reporting systems.
